When these three or five lash extensions are applied to a single natural lash, it is called 3D and 5D. This method is also known as Russian volume. The eyelash extensions used in this method are significantly thinner than the classic method, usually 0.07 in diameter. Volume lashes are lighter, more fluid and give the client a fuller look. Volume lashes are perfect for clients who do not have many lashes, have sparse lashes, bald spots or simply want a more dramatic look without having to use a thicker lash.
